lead with love

​Love has always been connected with renewal, fertility and expression. You cannot do it any other way. Love leads to growth. Love leads to connection. Love is a seed from which we as Spirit grow.
Ancient Romans celebrated the Lupercalia Festival Feb 15th each year, focusing on the coming Spring and Fertility.
In 269 A.D. Saint Valentine was put to death for having married couples so that the men could avoid going to war. He was killed on this day but not before sending off a love letter to his lady, through her father, a jail guard he had befriended.
In the 1400 a French duke imprisoned in England began to send out love poetry and by the 1800 Valentine's Day had become fully commercialized.
As with most things, you have to peel back the layers, find the root and that is where truth lies. Love is no different.
A healthy love is one free of pride.
It is focused on health, safety and expansion.
Love is a vulnerable state. It requires trust, self awareness and authenticity.
Leading with love is not about the thoughts in your head. It is not about your fears and your assumptions.
Showing another love, is showing them respect.
Showing them that you care in what they choose to care about.
So today, ask your loved ones what they need? Ask what do they dream about? Ask if they feel safe? Ask if they need any assistance in regards to health?
And ask yourself, who around you would do the same for you?
Because my dear, you are a creature of Spirit, and your growth is dependant on the love both from within yourself and from those around you.
